You must verify what version of Windows Vista you have before you create the boot or startup disk. If you have any Service Packs installed, you need the recdisc.exe file from the System32 folder to be from a Windows Vista system without any Service Packs (SP) installed.
Windows stores instructions for graphical elements such as dialog boxes and windows in the User32.dll file. The User32.dll file is necessary to the operation of Windows. If this file is damaged, deleted, or removed, the system will no longer work correctly. If a program or a service accesses User32.dll incorrectly, the program or the service will not work correctly.User32.dll errors are typically corrected by repairing the User32.dll file or by reinstalling the program, the hardware component, or the driver that is causing the error. If these procedures do not correct the User32.dll error, you can restore your computer to a condition before the error appeared by using the Windows System Restore feature.Note If you cannot start Windows because of a User32.dll error, see the "Start your computer in safe mode and use System Restore" section.

The Legacy variant does not natively include files to make it UEFI Boot from USB. However, it is still possible to boot and run your Windows Installers from UEFI. To switch between added Windows versions, navigate to the multiboot/win-directory (replacing win-directory with the Windows version you want to boot) on your USB. The Windows XP passwords are hashed using LM hash and NTLM hash (passwords of 14 or less characters) or NTLM only (passwords of 15 or more characters). The hashes are stored in C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\SAM. The SAM file is encrypted using C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\system and is locked when Windows is running. This file is a registry hive which is mounted to HKLM\SAM when windows is running. The SYSTEM account is the only account which can read this part of the registry. To get the passwords, you need to shutdown Windows, decrypt the SAM file, and then crack the hashes. If everything goes well, you'll have the passwords in 15 minutes.
